This Refund Policy applies to Gigpeach ticket purchases, pay-per-view events, and other purchases unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. By purchasing a ticket or using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
Unless an event page states a more generous policy, viewers may request a refund before an event starts. Gigpeach may grant or deny pre-event refunds based on event timing, fraud risk, producer settings, processor limitations, or other circumstances.
Refunds during or after an event are not automatic. Gigpeach may consider refunds when an event is cancelled, materially unavailable due to Gigpeach-controlled technical failure, terminated by Gigpeach for policy violation, or otherwise appropriate in Gigpeach's sole discretion.
Gigpeach may deny refunds where: the viewer attended or substantially accessed the event; the viewer's own internet, device, browser, speaker, display, firewall, corporate network, or local setup caused the issue; the viewer changed their mind after the event started; the viewer shared credentials or violated access rules; the event occurred as described; the request is abusive, fraudulent, excessive, or outside the stated period; or the payment processor cannot process the refund.
A refunded ticket generates no Producer earnings. Gigpeach may deduct refunded amounts, chargebacks, processor fees, platform losses, and related costs from Producer payouts or future earnings. Gigpeach may issue viewer refunds on Producer's behalf.
Approved refunds are generally submitted to the original payment method and may take five (5) to ten (10) business days or longer depending on Stripe, the card network, the issuing bank, currency conversion, or other providers. Gigpeach does not control bank timing.
Payment-processing fees, card-network fees, currency-conversion fees, chargeback fees, and similar costs may be non-refundable to Gigpeach. Gigpeach may account for such fees in Producer payout calculations.
Chargebacks are handled separately from refunds. Gigpeach may dispute chargebacks, provide evidence to processors or banks, suspend tickets or accounts, withhold Producer payouts, deduct chargeback costs, and terminate accounts involved in abusive or fraudulent chargeback activity.
If Gigpeach terminates a stream because of suspected prohibited Content, copyright infringement, fraud, illegal activity, provider-policy violation, or other breach, Gigpeach may refund viewers and withhold or forfeit Producer payouts to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Producer recording fee: The $10 recording fee paid by a Producer at event signup is non-refundable once the event has started or once a recording has begun being captured. If a recording fails to be captured due to a Gigpeach-controlled technical failure, the $10 fee will be refunded.
Catch-up (replay) tickets: Catch-up tickets are sold separately from live tickets and grant access to a recorded replay of a past event for a limited time window chosen by the Producer (3, 7, 14, or 30 days). Catch-up tickets are non-refundable once the recording has been accessed by the purchaser. Pre-access refund requests follow Sections 2 and 4 above.
Live ticket holders and replays: Purchase of a live ticket does not include access to the replay. Viewers who wish to watch a replay must purchase a separate catch-up ticket.
Recording deletion: Recordings are automatically deleted at the end of the Producer's chosen retention window. Gigpeach is not obligated to preserve, restore, or extend access to deleted recordings.
